The world urgently needs to adopt a sustainable lifestyle. With the rapidly changing environmental landscape, it is crucial to instill the philosophy of restoring nature's balance from a young age and making it a habit. The global citizenship program aims to create environmental awareness among young citizens.

Vijigishu organizes a 5-day academic program for students of classes 7-12 in the UAE to explain the role of technology and demonstrate the application of the latest technology in preserving natural resources.

It gives students a chance to explore how technology can be applied to conserve natural resources and find alternative sources of energy.

Why the United Arab Emirates?

A country with barely any natural resources until a few years back has now risen to power and economic importance due to its visionary leaders, and investments in technology and infrastructure for a sustainable future.

Workshop Details

Oceans of Change

Participants will learn about sustainable practices and the use of technology to protect the delicate balance of our oceans. Attendees will develop a remote-controlled submarine, which will be able to monitor and analyze the coral reefs to determine the optimal conditions for the preservation of marine life. Through this project, students will gain a deeper understanding of the impact of sustainability and technology on our planet's most precious resource.
